Brett Sizeland ASCC

Brett is an accredited strength and conditioning coach with the UKSCA. He has worked with a wide variety of clients including people requiring rehabilitation form serious injury and Professional athletes. Brett is currently working towards his Masters Degree in Strength & Conditioning Science, and finishing his post graduate diploma in sports nutrition which will lead him to become an accredited sports nutritionist with the international society of sports nutrition.

Brett is also a former professional mixed martial artist and has fought in some of the biggest MMA promotions in Europe.


Keir Williams

Keir is the head coach at CrossFit Essex, he has a passion for coaching and specialises Olympic weightlifting, and regularly holds coaching clinics. Keir has coached many CrossFit athletes to compete in International and National competitions, as well as competing himself. Keir takes regular classes at Concept Fitness as well as having an extensive personal training client base.

Andy Newall

Andy is the head martial arts instructor at Concept Fitness and a former British Thai Boxing champion. He is a qualified personal trainer, CrossFit coach and kettlebell instructor. Andy is known for his old school training ethic and notoriously tough sessions.

Gemma Knight

Gemma has trained at Concept Fitness for the last 6 years and the team have seen her through many challenges from climbing Mount Kilimanjaro to running in marathons. Now a qualified PT  she can pass on her knowledge, experience and enthusiasm to others and help people achieve their goals. Whether it be training for a challenge,  or getting your body back into shape, particularly after having children, being a Mum of two boys Gem will pass on her know-how and training experiences.


David Clarke

Dave is our newest member to the concept fitness team. He specialises in functional training and has a passion for movement and longevity personal training. David is particuarly skilled in the kettlebells and runs our kettlebell classes.


Stephanie Webb

Stephanie works with clients at all levels of fitness, from sporting and non-sporting backgrounds. Working with our team and clients to provided individually tailored massage therapy for minor injuries, pre & post event, relaxation and ongoing general maintenance.

Steph became involved with the team after regularly attending the crossfit classes and now also enjoys regular pad work and strength & conditioning training with the team.
